This is now my fourth year seeing this show, and honestly that’s as good a recommendation as any I can give you. Whether you’ve seen Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote before, are a fan of Murder, She Wrote itself, or are going in blind, you are in for a treat. There is a new (give or take a few decades) mystery to solve, complete with the trusty “Suspicionometer”, some gently silly audience participation, and at least one terrible ’80s cocktail dress to make fun of.

The clues that Miss Fletcher uncovers may be about as subtle as Benzie’s giant cue cards, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be duped by the villain. Add in TV trivia, amusingly slapdash costumes and a genuine ’80s ad break, and you’ve got a fabulously entertaining, comfort-food kind of show. A must-see for Murder, She Wrote devotees, but equally perfect for anyone wanting a fun, friendly and occasionally bitchy night of interactive TV.

My only problem with Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote is that when it gets to the end, I just want to grab some snacks and watch another four episodes with him.
