The Fleetwood Mac Story
The Fleetwood Mac Story is a joyful tribute to one of rock's greatest catalogues. The seven-piece band - three vocalists, two guitarists, keyboard and drums - bring depth and texture to the sound, doing full justice to the famously rich vocal harmonies and layered arrangements. Epic whole-band numbers such as The Chain and Go Your Own Way were highlights for me, but it was an absolutely storming rendition of Tusk that was my personal favourite, becoming so spirited during the drum solo that a cymbal was launched across the stage!
Between songs the band members chatted with warmth and humour, sharing informative bits of Fleetwood Mac history and trivia - it was friendly, funny, and added a nice personal touch to what was already a smashing set. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a night of nostalgia and genuine musicianship.
